Wonderful nature. We saw a leopard, an elephant, crocodiles, monkeys, and countless beautiful birds. Our guide spoke excellent English and was very friendly and attentive.

We had an amazing full day Safari in Wilpattu. Our guide Kaushika and our driver Supun really did their best to show us every detail of the Sri Lankan wildlife they truly love and … the Sri Lanka leopard. We would definitely recommend this safari and hope to come back to Wilpattu one day.

I booked to stay inside the DCL bungalows and organised the driver / guide / chef etc with this company. From start to finish it has been amazing. The communication over Watsapp was extremely helpful in answering all my questions, once booked I didn’t need to do a thing and we were really taken care of from start to finish.
We had a Driver - Pasindu, a Ranger - Ruchira
And a Naturalist - Mindaka. All 3 are absolutely brilliant at their jobs and have the eyes of hawks! We seen every animal on the list, multiple times. Even if we didn’t, I would still award 5 stars as They clearly care about the park / animals and even though they do this every day, they still get as excited and eager to see leopard as us. They truly went out of their way to make sure we had a good view of the animals but show respect to the animals by giving space / trying to avoid multiple jeeps.
Mindaka sat with us throughout the safari sharing stories / facts and information about the park and the animals which was very interesting. He knows them very well and knows the leopards by name. His English is perfect so it was easy communication and in general he’s a nice person and very easy to talk to.
The bungalow its self was well worth it and I am so glad we booked it, it made the experience. I read a couple of negative reviews about the bungalow and was worried at first, but it is a bungalow in the middle of a national park, built with the idea of minimal human disruption. So of course it’s not a luxury stay, it is an adventure base where you can observe creatures and be in nature. There are birds / crocs / cats lurking in the area, it is fantastic. The beds are comfy , clean and you get given a toiletry box on arrival. The chef cooked us some of the best meals we’ve had in Sri Lanka.
It was a really great experience from start to finish, made better by the staff. Thank you 🙂

Best safari company in Wilpattu. Highly recommended. We did a night safari and full day safari with my clients. We saw the Leopard, Rusty spotted cat, Jugle cat & Loris and many other animals. Mindaka did a great job.

Janith (Jani) and driver Madu were amazing! Madu had an eagle eye for spotting animals and reading leopard tracks and Jani was knowledgeable and great company throughout the trip. We stayed overnight in Wilpattu - a bit daunting at first but when we woke up at 5.30am the next morning and realised where we were, was a truly serene and uplifting experience. The bungalow manager was a decent cook and made us a hearty Sri Lankan breakfast. Wilpattu is a quite magical place and these guys were the best guides we could have hoped for, full of knowledge and respectful of the wildlife.

Had the best experience in kokmote bungalow. From the entrance we went another 3 and half hour deep in to the jungle and stayed the night. God it was so good. Not the luxury stay. It's like doing camping
